And February is the month of the birthday, of course. This one was especially special, as it is also only a month from Tia and Uncle AJ's wedding. So Nana was in town a whole week to birthday and wedding stuff with us.
So far it is crazy fun having three year olds. These guys entirely crack me up. They love to learn and joke and pretend. Their imaginations are wild, and their perspectives sharp. They are each others best friend, and make our lives so full. Did I mention no more diapers?! We also haven't used that time out mat in a while...
I'm personally hoping that the year of three is also when parenting becomes super easy.

| Their birthday party was a couple days before their birthday this year, so as to keep coinciding with our joint twin-birthday-superbowl extravaganza. So Will and Ada each got a special birthday party day present from mom and dad the morning of their party. Will, a Captain Hook sword and Wizard Mickey ears. |

| We had a Fairytale party this year. James did an amazing job transforming the kids jungle gym into a birthday castle. Ada dressed as Cinderella, naturally. Will was a rotating combination of "tiger dragon'', "Wizard dragon", or Captain Hook for the day. He's wearing his dragon pants from his Halloween costume. |

| We're three! So by the time their actual birthday rolled around, it was like Christmas day back to back! We had a great, low key day with Nana and Tia. Dad took the morning off and we went to the zoo and had lunch at a great little preserved 1950s diner with arcade games |

| Will had been asking for a "Bruno" from Cinderella and I happened upon an adorable one at the Disney store. So of course I had to find an equally cute snuggle pup for Ada. She got a Nana from Peter Pan. |

And perhaps the most monumental February milestone: our first carrot harvest! That's right. This is the entire carrot harvest from our garden this winter. One yellow. One orange. Took months to grow, and ten minutes to eat. But it was monumental, obvs by the looks of these faces.
