10 weeks, eleven

Hi friends! We have had a busy week or so here in twin-land. With Grandma Carrie in town we became more mobile. We had some great outings...yes babies' first Target run...and more. We all made it to the Downtown Phoenix Public Market for the first time where they got all sorts of attention on Grandma Cindy and Auntie Rachel's turf! My mom leaving made me realize how spoiled we all became having someone here to help with daily twin patrol! We all miss her so much!

This week I also brought Ada and Will to my work to meet my work friends. Four hours later we said hello to most of my work pals and some of our patients. They were so exhausted; that night Ada slept for NINE hours straight! It was quite the tease into what life could be like ...all the sleeping at night and all. :) We're optimistic we're getting there (although the nine hour sleep stretch has not happened again!)

Life is still great around here--spent in awe of Ada and Will's ever changing selves. Will is such a little boy, as verbal (and needy?!) as he is. Ada a little lady, no doubt. Pics say it the best--enjoy!

Little daytime hilarity with mom. Will in his yard work outfit. So I'm easily amused, go ahead judge me :)

Morning scene...Ada taking up half the bed. The girl loves herself a sleep.

9 weeks

Hi friends! We have had a busy week. It started with a great Easter with the Doneskis, brunch and egg hunt at the park on a beautiful Arizona spring day. Dad even got off work early to join in the fun! And now Grandma Carrie is back in town! It's quite a different visit from the last time she was here when Ada and Will were just two weeks old. We are having so much fun playing with the babes, reading, singing, dancing, walking, smiling. They love to look at her and talk to her. And so do I!

Our big news is that the family was back to our Pediatricians office this week for their 8 week check up. Will has surpassed Ada in weight and height! Will clocked in at 11lbs 1 oz (23.75 in) and Ada is at 10lbs 5oz (23.25 in). Both growing really well since our last visit. They are sleeping longer and longer at night. Talking and awake more in the day...I now know what a coo is! Will has started some drooling...still haven't found their thumbs but they're working on it.

Enjoy the pics!

Happy Easter!

2 months old!

Ada and Will are 8 weeks young and looking good! Time is zooming by for us at home, and we are having so much fun watching them grow. They are spending more time awake everyday (still holding out for more time asleep at night...I think we're getting there!) more and more aware of the world. They're talking too! I read at 8 weeks babies start "cooing". I don't think we can call what Ada and Will do cooing, more like squawking all day. Music to my ears anyway! My little chicks!

Enjoy the pics!
