May saw some pretty big deal things. Dad finished his first year of medical school. And passed. :) Mom had another birthday. Dad's thing makes him sound young, and mom's thing makes her sound old. But these, with mothers day, gave us some good excuses to have lots of parties and get togethers with our buddies. Also, ice cream. Its hot now. Good times.

| This is proof that someday babies do grow up and can sometimes, just sometimes, for a magical sliver of time, entertain themselves. Happily and constructively. Then they go back to destruction and fighting. Also I have no idea whose stuffing that is in the bucket. |
| Ada's Cinderella rocket ship. |
| Seriously a BOSS at puzzles. Ada loves letters, writing, and spelling and Will loves thinking games and puzzles. |
| Best mothers day shot we got. Sans one kid. At Grandma Cindy and Chips for brunch. Dad made eggs. "Uncle" Steve made waffles. |
| Impromptu ice cream meeting with Tia after our haircuts. |
| We made up rules to this game. |
| We had a full entourage at Schnepf Farm's annual Peach Festival--this year on my birthday. These were the bodyguards. This is the only picture on my phone of the whole experience--none of me, children, the enormous peach cinnamon rolls, tractor rides, or peaches. |
| The kids, and our friends, were very brave and awesome for a birthday dinner out on the town. We had German sausages, pretzels, and beer. Giant jenga and tetherball for the kids. Very fun birthday! |
| Someone accidentally got up too early and fell asleep instantly on the couch. I like this picture cuz it shows how Ada finger and toe snuggles her beloved Oma blankie. |
| This happened! At the zoo! Just on their own! |
| And this always happens. The adults rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to sit out of the nauseating carousel ride. We all usually lose. A rare thing though for everyone to pick an animal in the same row. The Triceratops is pretty cool though. |
| This happened some low key weekend afternoon. Will got all his guys from his bedroom to the couch for some story time. |
| These little boogers were giggling and smiling all wide eyed until I got my camera out. Sharing a root beer float moment on a swim party afternoon. That is the picture in my head when I look at this girls. |
| Similarly, this is an adorable dad and kid picture at the park to which everyone but James promptly ran away screaming from the moment I got the camera out. |
| Ada is generally a climbing and balancing daredevil pro. |
| A rare cloudy morning in May means we hit the bike trails! |
| Annual Memorial Day BBQ at the Crawfords. Ada and Leah popsicle cheers-ing. |
| Will probably put back about five or six of these. Also he carried this dope boombox around all day. |
| Hey laaadies. Our babies looking like a bunch of grown up kids. Cant believe it. |
| Dad-kid football this year. Hilarious and awesome. Will cried probably five times. But would run back out once the next play started. |
| First set. |
| Second set. |
| How bout a third set dad? |
| Lil buddy's turn! |
| Summer livin'. |
