Happy fall! Although fall in the desert is not quite how I remember them in the Midwest--we traded our sweaters for sun hats-- it is still my favorite time of the year. Auntie Rachel and I took Will and Ada to the Desert Botanical Garden's pumpkin patch last weekend and we had a blast. Ada loved to eat the hay on the hay ride and Will loved watching the fiddles and banjos in the live band. He was even dancing along, bouncing to the beat. They both loved watching all the kids in the petting zoo and they even got pet a couple times! Will got hold of a goat tail too. The most fun they had was in the middle of the pumpkin patch, rolling the pumpkins and banging them (we are really into banging things lately). Mid month has also brought cooler skies. 80degrees during the day has allowed us to venture out more than we have been able to with Will and Ada. We have discovered the Phoenix Children's Museum (so awesome!), they frequent the neighborhood walking path and park with Rachel, and were at "uncle" Ian's last weekend for Sunday dinner. Good times.
