March 2013

So March 2013 will always be the month our Tia married our Uncle AJ--AHGEE as it were. That post still under construction. :/  BUT check it! Some other stuff happened!

Started out the month with a Happy Birthday Dad! His birthday present from Grandma and Chip are our newest Gentry family additions. It was so fun picking all the parts of our new aquarium. Ada named her fish Crinky. Will named his fish Toad. Not to be mistaken with the water frog whose name is Skrinky, naturally.

Spring training dad day with Dad, "Uncle" Steve, and Leah.

Equals foul ball scores all around!
Next was a Happy Birthday Chase. Dude had a fun fireman party, here the kids playing a water balloon game to put out the flames.

Getting into it.

Ada anxiously awaiting lunch to be over. Bouncy house in site.
Animal scavenger hunt!

Taking inventory with "Grandpa" Mike.
Will loves few things more than cake.

Pinata! Lil slugger right there!

Then the hiding under dads legs.
Chase open my present!

Birthday party fireman fun!
Gear!
Run!

Firemen friends rule!

Sunday morning desert hike with Tia, wedding dress away.

Lettuce harvest. Never mind the lack of clothes.

Puzzles are pretty big right now. Particularly this awesome floor/concrete puzzle from Dana and Tony.
Happiness is a weekend morning in a park.

Frisbee park running with dad.

Studying with dad. Shes reading a dermatology atlas.

The no-clothes-ed fairy puzzles with 1/2 marathon finisher.

An elaborate Saturday morning game of .... I have no idea.
Will and childhood daddy's Batman.
Will's Batman "move".

Goofin' around at Grandma's.

Frisbee in the park with Grandma and Chip.

Kids love playing ball with the boys! Chip and James, however, were the last ones standing.

Dad got them their very own gloves!

Just a normal, Saturday lunch attire.

And we round out the month with another fun Easter. This year, Will and Ada were very clear that there was a bunny, and he was coming. "With toys".

Egg coloring for the bunny was mostly chaotic.  My hands were a combined shade of brown at the end, and most of the eggs smashed. But look at those 100 buck smiles! Is there a Pinterest for that?

M is for Mama. And she's THE BEST!

Proud of his collection.

Easter morning Ada promptly wanted one of her eggs she found.

This was the egg Will chose. Of the Cadbury variety. Naturally.

Will and Ada got CARS guys in their Easter baskets this year. Wills favorite guy is Mater. Ada's is Sally.

More egg coloring at "Grandpa" Mike and "Grandma" Linda's annual Easter brunch.

Leah and Sof had jewelry beads from their cousins.

So that was the main event.
Goofballs on the way to the park, where rumor had it, the Easter Bunny had been.
Easter egg hunting in the desert. This is for all my Wisconsin family whose pictures of theirs I saw, everyone was buried in snow, mittens, and scarves. We were covered in sun hats and sunscreen.
Found one!

Got it!

The loot.

Perk of medical student dad? He's home on Easter! Easter is better when dad's around.

Balloooooons!

"Can you blow one more up for me?"

Tony doing arts and crafts with the girls.

Buds. Trail walking in their Easter dresses.

  1. The naked fairy Ada and Will with the medal around his neck... hilarious. And Will eating the chocolate egg captures his love of all things chocolate perfectly.
Also, pinata's *are* scary, I don't blame them for hiding ;)

    Cute kids.
