Butterfly Garden

Grandmas are full of great ideas. Grandma Cindy and Chip invited me and the kids to the Desert Botanical Gardens during their last week of the butterfly exhibit. Ada and Will had a fantastic time in the garden, pointing out the butterflies and walking the paths of the beautiful garden. Wildflowers and cactus blooming--great time to go before it gets too hot. And Will had a beautiful Monarch land on his sneaker that stayed, even when he was trying to shake him off. Lucky guy.

Over there!

Will and Grandma scoping out the scene for a fluttery friend. Also Grandma close for security detail so as to minimize casualties :)

Kids loved a 'run-around' with Chip and Grandma in an open gazebo to help stretch our legs before the drive home. They chased and chased Chip, and showed Grandma how they can stomp their feet. "If you're happy and you know it..."

Uh this way mom
