Us here Gentry's have had a busy beginning of September. Between storytimes, play dates, birthday parties, and "school", we had back to back trips from our Wisconsin Grandma and Grandpa. Ada and Will had a great time wearing Nana and Grandpa Brian out! Now that we're back to our regular routine here at home, it strikes me that even in a month, these kids are growing. Ada and Will now, without a doubt, have their own opinion of how things should go. From who they want to hang out with, read with, what to wear, what to eat, who with, what cup to drink out of... "Are you going night night Will? No". But also helpful--throwing away garbage on their own, feeding the dogs, bring in groceries.  Brave, and FAST. These kids are EVERYWHERE! Their running is getting quite sophisticated, and often get a kick out of chasing each other or the dogs around the kitchen table. I'm even catching them together in quite moments, sharing a book or talking about a toy. This, for sure, a first. Laughing, talking "blah blah blah blah blah", screaming, and squealing at a whole new level.

Other amazing and genius things Will and Ada are up to: showing muscles "raahhhh", showing (and making up) owies, Ada says AJ "ah-jee", Ada loves babies, Will loves ducks and trucks, hold hands while walking, will go get the other if asked, playing catch, ask for help, fishy face, sing wheels on the bus and itsy bitsy spider, and play Army with Uncle AJ. Ada and Will are sweet and funny. Say please, Ada has even signed thank you. Will is our observant bird watcher, catching things I don't even see--moon rising, bugs, butterflies, trucks. Ada our sneaky acrobat, knows the limit of just where she shouldn't be.

Sweeties now run to the window after someone leaves to wave goodbye.

Ada and Will are in their first class at a Community Center nearby with our friends Leah and Chase. Our first craft project from "school" this week. It's bug week.

Will has been doing a great job self entertaining. I am catching him occupying himself by "organizing" a pile of his selecting things--here toys/books, other times--my lotion/makeup, chapstick, rocks (rocks are the bomb in my house, btw)--into a slot or cubby of some sort. So I am often finding a pile of books or chapstick under my dresser, bookcase, iron board, etc.

We took Nana to the grocery store to show her how we roll double style. We have one grocery store, besides Costco, that we can go that has a double seater cart. This store's is tricked out with a beepbeep car. Will and Ada love to beep our way through the store and turn the wheel, and yes, eventually pursue escape attempts! Functioning seatbelts the cars are lacking! This particular trip started as above....

...and ended as such. Will asleep, Ada dressless.
