18 months!

New rides facing front!

Jumping, running, diving OHMY! We are knee deep, some days buried, in toddlerdome and it suits Will and Ada fabulously. They are sweet and sassy, learning their way around the world. Ada is frighteningly good at "no no no" when something isnt going her way, but also generous in her kisses. She'll now even make a pucker sound if she's really going to give it to you! She's our little character and knows when she is telling a good story, whipping out some dance moves, facial expressions, and some good babble. And a respectable attempt at a fishy face.

Will is our sensitive soul, still great at a snuggle or good wail fest to let his stance be known. He can hold his own, however, running at the gym daycare with the other kids or reading an afternoon book by himself. Will has a classic "uh-oh" with hands out, to let us know when something is out of place, ie: piece of lint in the middle of the kitchen floor. Also a great helper, has figured out to go get his step stool to help unload the top rack of the dishwasher and throws his own diapers away--"dirty".

Both Ada and Will are happiest around people and being productive. Great helpers around the house--unloading the dishwasher, doing laundry, giving treats to the dogs. They're thoughtful too, giving each other bits of each others dinner or sippy cup, saying "byebye" to the dogs before we leave, and kissing us goodnight. Tough buggers through all their toddler trials, when they take a tumble, they will stand up and shake it off. Literally, with their hands, shake shake. And dare I say Ada has learned "please"?! We hope this new trick never gets old!

Ada: 24lbs, 2oz (48%), 33.25in (90%)

Will: 23lbs, 14oz (23%), 33.25in (78%)

Ada has surpassed Will in weight again for the first time since they were 8 weeks old! Their Pediatrician said at their visit that it was a great way to start out her week. Our children are supremely advanced :)

Front facing snoozy-mc-snoozersons. Kids were just too long to be rear facing anymore! They seem to like the change up.

A day in the life...

James captured a classic Will move of late: getting ready to jump, will lean forward and stick arms straight back. A bird, a plane, Will Leander!

What does one get the daughter that takes her own diaper off? Pull Ups! Now if we could only get her to wear them on her bottom...

We're getting good at puzzles. Here at library.

Sticker play lately = stickers off paper and on top of each foot.

Kids first trip to the Musical Instrument Museum was lots of fun. Here kids with maps and their audio guides, ready to rock n roll!

MIM has a great interactive room where Will and Ada loved playing all the instruments. Shakers, drums, xylophones, guitars, and gongs!
