Happy Thanksgiving!

Another great Thanksgiving crew at Casa de Gentry this year. Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday of the year--family and friends just being together. And an excuse for cream and pumpkin pie! The day started out great, as "Tia" Rachel and I took the kids on our first (what we hope to be) annual Thanksgiving 5K Turkey Trot. They rolled along with us in the race that benefitted local childrens programs, waving "hiiiiii" to all the runners, walkers, and families. The Doneskis joined Tia, AJ, and us for Bloody Mary and bagel brunch while my homeland Green Bay Packers played. And as the turkey baked, the rest of the crowd trickled in, dogs and all! It was a merry house, full of dogs, kids, and catching up.

Uncle AJ surprised the kids with Lincoln Logs! Presently, their favorite part about them is dumping them out and putting them back in their box!
And this was happening. Wearing Mika's cone of shame.

Sofia and Leah helping with turkey window stickies.
Will rearranging when girls not looking.

Ada playing trucks with Dana and Phyllis.
Puppy Charlie getting so big!

Between Will and Charlie, I dont think the guys got a single full game of Bocce ball in.
Will, throw it this way....no that way...no...

Its a barefoot Thanksgiving sort of place.

Ada was hitting up the bar.

Apple Cider and trucks with Grandma Cindy.

Pull up a chair, turkey.

Cheers!

mmm...turkey....

Day after, all worn out!

  1. I can't believe it has been two Thanksgivings already! What an awesome day.

Hayley/Thayer- we missed you this year!

Looking forward to next years Turkey Trot (even though we're the only ones that call it that) already!
