BBQ at "Uncle" Ian's this fourth of July. Food, friends, fireworks, and a 9.99 plastic pool from the grocery store made for a memorable time! Kids had a blast with the sprinkle hose draped over an orange tree branch. And Will brought his golf clubs to work on his swing in Ian's backyard. Ada snuck awake after bed time for the firework show (she loved them!) and strawberry shortcake with the big kids. We laughed thinking of Ada's thought process..."so THIS is what you grown ups do after you put us to bed?!". Yep, fireworks and sweets my dear. Being a mommy rules.
